Though he had been playing brilliantly during the 2016 season, he suffered two severe injuries due to which he was on injured reserve for most of the season. The only other family since the AFL-NFL merger to have four brothers in the NFL was the Browner family, with Jim, Joey, Keith and Ross, who played in the 1970s and 1980s. Despite this, he finished the season with 25 receptions on 38 targets for 540 yards and three touchdowns. The Gronkowski brothers have always been part of a large family of five kids with big athletic ambitions.
